We will
be visiting several places to explore the beauty of the Northern New
Hampshire. This is not a
photo tour but feel free
to bring your camera. Our plan is to meet in the White Mountains in the
early afternoon and set out on an adventure to see wildlife, covered
bridges, waterfalls etc till sunset. Northern NH is abundant with
wildlife. This is the heart of Moose Country. We see some stunning
landscapes from little known spots. We will look at wildlife and
signs of wildlife.
Why waste
your time looking for the best hidden spots to see wildlife, waterfalls,
best foliage etc. Hunters and fisherman use guides all the time. We do
take participants to some well known locations as well as many secret
spots only a few locals would know.
John has been photographing and observing this area
and its wildlife for years. If you sign up for multiple days we plan on
visiting some different locations.
WHEN

Selected
Dates: July and August
ITINERARY:
Meet in
the White Mountains in Early Afternoon
Stay out till after
sunset (around 8pm)
Many
wildlife tours companies leave right before sunset in a large van
crowded with people and you end up seeing moose at night with
spotlights. We leave early and head to some of the best places in New
England. Our small group can approach wildlife closer and in the
daytime.
PRICE:
$125 per

all instruction in the field and transportation
WHO
SHOULD ATTEND:
Anyone
with an interest in exploring New Hampshire. Your Camera or video camera

GROUP SIZE:
Our
groups are small in size and are normally limited to 6-8 people. This
group size allows for flexibility in our plans if interesting and
unexpected opportunities present themselves. Also it will allow us to
work with each participate to ensure that no question is left
unanswered.
TRANSPORTATION:
Transportation to field locations is included. We might need help and
ask a independent driver to use their own car and maybe take an
additional passenger or two.
WEATHER:
Rainy
conditions can provide some the moodiest and diffused lighting of any
trip. You can get some unique opportunities in these conditions that you
could not get on a sunny day. Unless the weather conditions pose any
danger to group we will still stay out.
WILDLIFE:
Wildlife
is extremely unpredictable. We will be in one of the top areas of New
England for wildlife viewing. We hope to see moose, eagles, osprey and
common loons etc. In the past we have had an extremely high success
rate but we can’t guarantee we will see any particular species.
