APRIL 2012:

Spring is here (actually early). I hope you are all getting outside and enjoying yourself. I just got back from the Smoky Mountains leading a photo workshop it was fun and our group had fun and got some great pictures. 

We also hope to be more active with our Photo Blog and Facebook page.

Pictures:

We have gone on several recent photo trips and will have several new photos. If you are interested in any pictures for your home of office please contact us. We have several ways to display our work (canvas/framed, unframes etc. Also check our blog and facebook pages for some recent photos.

Smoky Mountain Fall Photo Tour: Explore the beautiful Smoky Mountain National Park during the height of fall foliage, Black Bears, Mountains, Macro. Awesome Landscape and Wildlife photography opportunities.

Photo Tours and Workshops:

We just added some new photo tours and workshops. In 2013 we are doing two back to back photo tours to Alaska. One exploring the Kenai Peninsula and the other to photograph bears.

In November we will be exploring the Delmarva Peninsula especially Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge and Bombay Hook in Delaware.

Please also check out our 2012 photo tour and workshop schedule. Most of our tours only have a few spaces left since our group size if 6 people. If you are interested in a trip we recommend signing up as soon as possible before it fills up.

December 15, 2010  CHRISTMAS SHIPPING DEADLINES

Here are the deadlines to get pictures before Christmas using post office priority (usually free shipping).

Please call our office ASAP for exact dates etc.

All canvas orders must be done by Thursday December 16 10pm.

Prints: Prints/Matted Photos orders must be done by December 20 2pm.

I may be able to get some pictures after the above deadlines please contact us for specific info.

Please call our office (508) 839-5111 between 9am and 9pm to place order the sooner the better.

I hope you are all getting outside and enjoying the fall weather.

AUGUST 2010: 

This summer I have been lucky enough to spent a lot of time photographing black bears. Please visit our blog to see recent pictures.

 

MAY 2010: 

We just came back from the DELMARVA peninsula. We loved Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia's state parks and wildlife refuges. It was fun and see and photograph the beautiful landscapes and wildlife.


 

MARCH 2010: 
 

We just came back from a trip to Florida. John spent a lot of time in the Everglades and Big Cypress National Parks. He also explored several new refuges.

 

JANUARY 2010: 

2010 looks like its going to be a great year.

Gives a nice 3 dimensional modern look.

1.) MASSACHUSETTS AUDUBON LECTURE:

BEAR COUNTRY

John will be doing a program called Bear Country.

One of John's greatest passions: Bears

This program is about polar and grizzly bears

Where: Wachusett Meadow Wildlife Sanctuary in 113 Goodnow Road  Princeton, MA.

03/10/09:
 

This image of Alaskan coastal bears, photographed in Katmai National Park by Grafton nature and wildlife photographer John Slonina, will be included in a slide presentation by Slonina March 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the Quabbin Camera Group meeting at the Quabbin Visitors Center in Belchertown. The public is welcome.

 

11/19/08:
 

We just got back from a phototrip to Churchill, Manitoba in Canada. I was there to photograph and observe Polar Bears. It was great seeing my first wild polar bears. I also did get some nice photos and made some new friends.

The bears were very inspiring and a reminder of the impact of global warming. More on that later. 

We posted one picture on Gallery 3 and we hope to add some more soon.
