Cape Cod Photo Tours and Workshops (Whales, Seals, Lighthouse and Landscapes)
Cape Cod Photo Tours and Workshops (Whales, Seals, Lighthouse and Landscapes)
Join us on an instructional photo tour and workshop to Cape Cod, Massachusetts. We will travel by land and sea to photograph whales, seals, giant dunes, lighthouses, and other incredible coastal landscapes.
Photograph Cape Cod before the busy tourist season starts.
WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY
We will take two boat trips to photograph whales, seals, and lighthouses.
One outing will visit the world-renowned Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary, recently voted the Best Place to See Aquatic Life in USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards. This area is known for frequent sightings and the active behaviors of some of the largest animals on the planet, making it an unforgettable ocean safari.
The second trip will focus on photographing seals. We expect to see hundreds, with a small chance of spotting great white sharks that prey on them.
LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY
Cape Cod is surrounded by the ocean. The water gives photographers a wealth of photo opportunities, including dramatic dunes, cliffs, hidden harbors, multiple lighthouses, sailboats, wind-swept beaches, and aerobic humpback whales.
We will maximize our time in the field, shooting a multitude of subjects as well as incorporating instruction, critiques, and photographic assignments each day.
WHEN

SKILL & FITNESS LEVEL REQUIREMENTS
Anyone with an interest in photography, from beginner to professional.
The participants should have a love of nature and enjoy the company of other people in a small group setting.
There are several short hikes on this trip. All hikes are less than a few miles and relatively easy.
Participants should be in good health and self-sufficient.
CLASSROOM TIME
This trip is planned to maximize time outdoors photographing. We may have classroom time to discuss photography, post-processing, or provide photo critiques.
I will customize the class to cover the wishes of our small group. Topics may include nature photography, wildlife photography, photo techniques, and, if the group is interested, some tips on Lightroom.
Our job is not only to help you create beautiful images and to have fun, but to teach skills and techniques that you can use to take your photography to the next level.
