New England foliage peaks at different times so experience and planning is critical. It also peaks at different times for different elevations. It is critical to know the timing of which areas peak first to last. It is amazing the number of tours that go out past peak foliage. You also have to know how to avoid the crowds during peak traffic season. We will put you in the right spot in the right time to help you produce top quality images.
This is a landscape photography tour but we will also be on the lookout for different wildlife. This area is one of the best places to see moose in New England. To be honest the moose population is on a rapid decline so it will be a longshot but you never know. Here is an article.

We believe in capturing the best light our workshop includes sunrise and sunset shoots (weather permitting). Early morning and later afternoon has the best lighting for photography. It is also the time wildlife is most active. Also early morning has some other advantages less traffic and people and less wind. We will be out most of the daylight hours.
We always go for the best light, which makes the great photo opportunities. The schedule will be flexible to maximize it.
Check in to Rangeley hotel then meet at 2pm.
We will have a group introduction then leave to photograph the afternoon light and continue until sunset then a cozy restaurant.
We will photograph the beautiful Rangeley area. There is 6 major lakes plus hundreds of small lakes, ponds, rivers and streams.
